About Scrambler 1200

Larger than the Street Scrambler and with more off-road capabilities, the Scrambler 1200 is an all-new offering from Triumph. The Scrambler 1200 will come with an engine bash plate, fork protectors and shield for the dual high-mounter exhaust. Other modern features include LED lights for the headlamp and other auxiliary lamps, a full-color TFT screen for the instrument cluster with Bluetooth function and knuckle guards.

Unique to Scrambler 1200 is an integrated GoPro control allowing the rider to click photos or record videos via the bike’s switchgear. The 1200cc parallel-twin is capable of churning out 88bhp of maximum power and 110Nm of peak torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed gearbox.

The bike comes with four riding modes- Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider. Meanwhile, the XE gets an additional Off-road mode too. Built to take on the off-road condition, the Scrambler 1200 Showa forks up front and Ohlins twin-shocks for the rear. The motorcycle rides on spoke wheels shod with dual-purpose tyres for better grip when going off-road. Braking is done by twin discs for the front and a single disc for the rear, both with Brembo calipers.
