a
n online multiplayer game and developed by PUBG corporation, Bluehole, Xbox game studio, and Tencent Studio. It is a subsidiary of South Korean video game company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan Greene  "PlayerUnknown" for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale.

PUBG was first released for Microsoft Windows as a beta on March 2017, then a full release on December 2017.

In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves. The available safe area of the game's map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or team standing wins the round.

Pubg was founded by Brenden Greene. Brendan started his career as a DJ and Photographer and began exploring his ideas in web designing in Sao Paulo. In 2013, he started studying different stages regarding the code of games created by other individuals and changed the game Arma 2, which was motivated by Japanese film that anticipated ‘The Hunger Games’ named, Battle Royale.

PUBG, he has been enjoying a massive income from his career. The company, Bluehole Inc, he created has a net worth of $4.6 billion and sold 13 million copies in 2017. With all these works, it is estimated that Brendan has a net worth of $200 million.

Now PUBG has become 5th best selling game in the world by total copies sold (50 million) with over 400 million players in total when including the mobile version. and the best-selling Xbox One video game by total copies sold (8 million).

Gameplay

The battleground is a player versus player shooter game in which up to one hundred players fight in a battle royale, a type of large-scale last man standing deathmatch where players fight to remain the last alive. Players can choose to enter the match solo, duo, or with a small team of up to four people. The last person or team alive wins the match.

Each match starts with players parachuting from a plane onto one of the four maps, with areas of approximately 8 × 8 kilometers (5.0 × 5.0 mi), 6 × 6 kilometers (3.7 × 3.7 mi), and 4 × 4 kilometers (2.5 × 2.5 mi) in size. The plane's flight path across the map varies with each round, requiring players to quickly determine the best time to eject and parachute to the ground.[1] Players start with no gear beyond customized clothing selections which do not affect gameplay. Once they land, players can search buildings, ghost towns, and other sites to find weapons, vehicles, armor, and other equipment. These items are procedurally distributed throughout the map at the start of a match, with certain high-risk zones typically having better equipment. Killed players can be looted to acquire their gear as well. Players can opt to play either from the first-person or third-person perspective, each having their own advantages and disadvantages in combat and situational awareness; though server-specific settings can be used to force all players into one perspective to eliminate some advantages.

Every few minutes, the playable area of the map begins to shrink down towards a random location, with any player caught outside the safe area taking damage incrementally, and eventually being eliminated if the safe zone is not entered in time; in game, the players see the boundary as a shimmering blue wall that contracts over time. This results in a more confined map, in turn, increases the chances of encounters. During the course of the match, random regions of the map are highlighted in red and bombed, posing a threat to players who remain in that area. In both cases, players are warned a few minutes before these events, giving them time to relocate to safety. A plane will fly over various parts of the playable map occasionally at random, or wherever a player uses a flare gun, and drop a loot package, containing items which are typically unobtainable during normal gameplay. These packages emit highly visible red smoke, drawing interested players near it and creating further confrontations. On average, a full round takes no more than 30 minutes.

At the completion of each round, players gain in-game currency based on their performance. The currency is used to purchase crates which contain cosmetic items for character or weapon customization. A rotating "event mode" was added to the game in March 2018. These events change up the normal game rules, such as establishing larger teams or squads or altering the distribution of weapons and armor across the game map.

Night Mode

The game started off like any other Classic mode game on Erangel, with the sky being the only environmental indication that it will be a Night Mode game. Unlike normal day time matches, in which the sky looks all bright and sunny at the beginning of the match, the sky in the Night Mode game resembles an evening sky right from the start. I can’t be sure if that’s the case with each Night Mode game, but that’s what I noticed in the only Night Mode game that I’ve played so far. If you still aren’t able to tell if a particular match will have a Night Mode, the game makes it quite easy by displaying a ‘Day/Night’ tag in the bottom left corner for Night Mode games.

War Mode

War Mode to the iOS and Android versions of PUBG in an effort to have mobile players’ content remain consistent with the PC and Xbox One versions. According to Bluehole Studio, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds War Mode is coming to the iOS and Android iterations as a content drop to supplement the battle royale title’s recent addition of the First Person Perspective Mode on mobile back in June. With this being the case, iOS and Android players will be tasked with being the first team to reach 100 points, with players respawning after each death and earning “three points for killing an opponent, one point for killing a downed opponent, and one point for saving a teammate.”

Mini-Zone

Less space more intensity Mini-Zone where 100 players are dropped into a smaller circle in the map with triple the number of weapons. Players can expect matches to last 20 minutes in this mode.

Event Mode

What is event mode?
Event Mode as a periodically changing preset Custom Game where PUBG Corp will be trying new things and experimenting with different game parameters.  Anyone who has a copy of PUBG can play in event mode.

Zombies

The zombie mode has been one of the most anticipated features of PUBG MOBILE since Tencent games announced their collaboration with RE Games a couple of months ago. For all those who love shooting zombies in their pastime, zombie mode marries the unabashed joy of carelessly shooting zombies with the widely acclaimed class-leading gameplay physics of PUBG MOBILE. The PC version got access to a slightly different version of zombie mode, which was less of horrifying and cutesier in its approach. However, that's not the case with the mobile game. Mobile Pubg is amazing just play it.
